Spread the World; Web Site Design and Photography

About Spread the World:

[James 'Stel' Stelfox of Starsailor.] My name is Julia Hurst and I am a fully qualified Technical Illustrator and I have worked in the field of illustration, graphics and marketing for over twenty years, in recent years, replacing my drawing board with a computer and mouse. I am the proprietor of Spread the World.

As a technical illustrator I have training and experience in all the fields appropriate for web site design, such as artwork production, graphics and photo retouching. For example if you have a photograph you would like to use on your web site which is less than perfect, I can retouch the photographs electronically after scanning without making any changes to your original print. I can also undertake scanning, photo manipulation and photo retouching even if I am not designing your web pages. [Frosty morning in Grizedale Forest. ]

I am a keen photographer and am able to do photographic work for web sites, where it is appropriate. I specialise in live music photography using available light (I rarely use flash) and I manage the web sites and undertake gig photography for several bands, from local unsigned bands, to successful chart bands. Please see my other web sites for general photography and live music photography.
