Spread the World; Web Site Design and Photography

Web Site Design:

[Nuthatch visiting my office window feeder.] Spread The World offers a web site design service for businesses who want an Internet presence that is appropriate for their needs and intentions. My web sites are cross browser compatible, address web accessibility issues and fully validate to the W3C standards for web design. I specialise in static web design work only and I do it well.

I'm not going to make rash promises using big words to extol the virtues of a Spread the World designed web site, or to claim that it will transform your business, that's not what you want to hear. I will however, promise to deliver a web site that will be fast and efficient, will work for any visitor using their chosen technology and that I will work with care and attention to detail and will deliver on time. [ Starsailor at Leeds University Union.] If you want the web site to expand your business, you need to use it efficiently as a marketing tool and I can show you how. If you want your web site to impart information, we need to ensure it does so efficiently. Between us, we can develop a site that will be an asset your business, but the client is an equal partner in making that happen. I welcome work from small companies and sole proprietors.

Please view the rest of the site and in particular my Portfolio of past projects and see if you like the work I have done for other clients. Perhaps make a note of features you like - or perhaps those that you don't - and this can form the basis of our initial discussions as to what sort of web site would fulfil your requirements.

Photography:

Droplets of water on a brushed aluminium surface. I have been a keen photographer since childhood and studied it through college as one of the subjects of my technical illustration course. With the advent of digital photography, my enthusiasm was re-awakened. Whilst I have never hung up my shingle as a professional photographer and don't claim to be one, I am able to offer photography as a supplementary service where it can improve the web site you create, especially if you have small products that need to be illustrated. Many of the sites in my portfolio utilise photography done as part of the design package.

As I do a lot of work for the music industry, an area in which I've come to specialise, is in live music/available light photography and this is an area in which I very much enjoy working. Please see both my general photography portfolio and my live music photography web site if this work interests you. These are separate external web sites and I work under my nickname of Boo. I am also contracted to work extensively on an archive site for UK band Starsailor and this site features a lot of my photographic work at Good Souls, the Starsailor Interactive Archive.

I'll illustrate the site with photographs I've taken, please feel free to click them to see a larger version and then the back button of your browser to return to the page.
